Once digital content has been added to the system, it comes instantly available to work colleagues across the organization. The document will be restricted via access control as to who can read and what actions or modifications can be performed on these documents.
These documents may now be work-flowed to other users on the network, whereby all who need to work in shared environment, do so in a collaborated and structured manner. Work colleagues can now add additional digital content to a document, make comments in the notes facility, perform external task like phone calls or emails, and prepare additional documentation that may be required to be added to the first document.
For example, a quote may have been generated and stored, the invoice then needs to be created from the said quote which has been accepted respectively and returned in an electronic format. Subsequently a delivery note will need to be generated, and will serve as a POD for goods being delivered. The signed off delivery note can also be stored against the original quote.

Each of these stages are managed by various authorized staff, whereby the said staff can add the digital version of the relevant document, to the document store under the same record.
